Bring a snack to share from 6 – 7 PM. The “’Tis the Season” show will start at 7:00 and run approximately an hour. This is a FREE, family friendly show, so bring the kids! If you need to unload food before parking, use the reserved loading lot at the ISU Planetarium. (You can see the dome at the SW corner of College Ave. and School St. It is on the east end of Felmley Hall of Science.) Park at the “F67” red tag faculty lot, which is north of the planetarium across from the Methodist church. Even though signs say this lot isn’t open until 7 PM it is actually safe to do so after 5:30 PM. Tom will have the east lobby doors unlocked. Thank you, Tom, for making this possible!!
"'Tis the Season" takes a look at how various cultures (not all) in different eras have celebrated the winter solstice and where Santa Claus has come from. If you can't make it on this date, consider attending one of the regular public showings. Friday doors open at 7:10 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM. Admission price is $4 Adults, $3 children 5 - 12 years old, ISU ID holders & seniors, and $2 children 3-4 years old.
