Welcome to the Baby Signs® Program!

Welcome to Baby Signs®! I am a stay-at-home-mom and teach the Baby Signs® Program part-time. I love doing both and like all moms, I am very busy! I received my teaching credential in elementary education while pregnant with my son, and naturally, with a love for education I was eager to teach my son to "talk." My husband and I began signing with him when he was 6 months old. We patiently and happily modeled signs through songs, diaper changes and stories when at 12 months he signed "all done" from his high chair - and sure enough his lunch was devoured!

I was so excited I called my husband, mom and mother-in-law! A whole new world of communication opened up between my husband and I with our son. His signing and love of "talking" took off and we practiced the signs for "more," "airplane," "train," "cat," and of course "all done." Shortly thereafter I found the opportunity to teach the Baby Signs® Program. I love teaching the classes and workshops and bringing this joy to other parents and children.
