Are you a mom of an infant or toddler who’s finding it hard to meet other laid-back, FRIENDLY moms just like you?  Would you like to make new friends for you and your little one(s)?  Do you like getting out and being active, or want to start?  

Babylon Moms Group is a network of local moms like you based in western Suffolk county.   We are stay at home moms, working moms, and work at home moms.  Our main goal is to find friends for our children and ourselves, and get out and do fun things with each other.  We also have an active message board, which is used for sharing advice, information, and resources.  

We have a very active calendar, with an average of 3-5 meetups a week.  We usually have at least one meetup every weekend.  Still can't find a meetup that suits your family's schedule?  Then host your own event!  

Please read the following information before requesting to join Babylon Moms Group:

As we are an active group, we require our members to attend at least one meetup every month to maintain membership.  If you do not think you will be able to adhere to our attendance policy, please do not request to join Babylon Moms Group.  Please read our policies and procedures page before requesting membership.

Prospective members must attend a public meetup before being admitted into Babylon Moms Group.  This is mainly so you can see if this is the right group for you, but also for the privacy and safety of the group. Our group is private, which means only members can see the content of the website.  Meetup dates and information, photos, discussions, and your profile information and picture are only visible by other members of the group.  We often take pictures at meeups, so if you do not want yourself or child to be included in photos on the website, please let the organizer know at your first meetup.  

Upon membership request, you will be contacted by the organizer via email with meetup information.  Please respond within one week or your membership request will be denied.  

We are a friendly, open-minded group of moms and kids.  We try to keep this group as drama-free as possible, so moms and kids alike are expected to play nice.

Membership dues--$6.00 due November 1st.  This goes to pay Meetup organizer dues and the cost of running and maintaining the site and various events.  All dues collected stay within Babylon Moms Group.  Dues may be paid in cash or with Paypal.
