Hi Everyone!!
Baby Talk moms group is here to bring together friendly moms and their babies and young toddlers from South Broward (Hollywood, Davie, Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Miramar...)and surrounding neighborhoods. All moms are welcome, whether you stay home or work (in/outside of the home).
C'mon & Join Us!
Join us for a meetup, which will include weekend and weekday baby/ young toddlers playdates (indoor and outdoors), coffee/brunch outings and more. We will have events on weekdays AND weekends in an effort to accommodate everyone's schedule & lifestyle. Come to the Group's message board to learn about the experiences of other moms, share advice, offer and receive support and make new friends for you AND your children! Here you can also share your favorite activities, swap ideas for crafts (for moms & kids!) or even add you recommendations for the best places to shop and dine in our local community (family friendly and general recommendations are welcome)!

MEMBERSHIP
1 In order to be considered for membership, you must fully complete and post a profile, including a photo. If you are unsure of how to post a photo, please email the group organizer for instructions. If you do not have a photo, you should make a reasonable attempt to post one as soon as possible.
2.You must attend a group meetup or "meet & greet" before you will be approved as a full member of the group.
3.Once your profile & membership request are received by the organizer, you will receive an email with information regarding one or two upcoming meetups. Please reply, letting us know if you will be able to attend.
4.If, after several attempts to inform you of meetups/meet & greets, you fail to attend, your request to join will be denied.
5.If you find that you do not have the time to attend meetups, you are always welcome to re-submit for membership at a later time, once your schedule better allows your participation.
6. Membership fee is $7 non-refundable due after 7 days of active membership!!!
7.We reserve the rights to remove any "Haters"or Non active member!!!
ACTIVE MEMBER - GROUP PARTICIPATION
1.Once you have been approved for group membership, please post to the message boards within 7 days. There are several anchored links that you can post to which make this very easy. You might like to start with the Tell Us About YOU thread, or jump right in and start a new thread or just join in on any of the existing conversations!
2.This group is designed to be an ACTIVE group of moms. You are considered "active" if you attend at least one meetup group event per month. If you don't, or can't, please let us know why (you can email the organizer directly for privacy). You will become "Inactive"and out of the group if we do not hear from you!
We all want to have fun and make friends, and once you're a part of our group, when you go away we miss you!!
3.Please R.S.V.P. for as much events as you can! You will always be able to select "yes" or "no", and you will almost always be able to select "maybe" with the option to change your answer closer to the event. We spend a lot of time coming up with meeting ideas, then organizing and following up with members, so we expect everyone to be responsible for at least letting us know whether or not they can come.
4.If you R.S.V.P. YES, please make absolutely every effort to actually show up! We understand that things come up last minute, and we all have our priorities that come before this group (we're all moms too!), BUT, if at the last minute you find you are unable to attend, or know in advance you are going to be very late, please email or call (a contact number will be provided for all events), so we know whether or not to wait for you to show.
5.It is appreciated if you would post or reply to the message boards regularly, however, again, we are all moms, so we understand how crazy things can get. Please note, if more than one (2) month goes by with no posting activity on the boards, you will be given a friendly reminder that we miss you and would love for you to drop in. If a third month passes, you will be removed from the group. As with all rules, there are exceptions, so please: if you receive a "reminder" email, at least reply to it and let us all know that you are okay and assure us that you still like us and will be back (and when). This is supposed to be FUN so I don't want everyone to feel they're going to get "busted", but we need to set some sort of guidelines, I'm sure you all understand!
6.We would appreciate it if, while you are posting on our group boards, you follow the BOARD RULES
