1985 Chateau Langoa Barton

You may remember a post from a guy named Andy a few weeks back regarding some old Bordeaux he wanted to sell. He has a full case of 1985 Chateu Langoa Barton in the original wooden crate that he is interested in selling. If our group would like to go in on the entire case, he'd be willing to discuss a good price for all of it. I bought two bottles of the Langoa from him about a week ago, opened one, and it was very, very nice. Just what you would expect from an older Bordeaux from St. Julien. The nose is sweet dark cherry, cedar, earth. It's got medium body and after 27 years still has a pretty long finish. This is wine you would drink sooner rather than later, as it probably only has six to nine months left. He has other people interested in buying a few bottles here and there but wanted to first offer it as a full case to anyone who is interested. I told him we would get back to him by this Thursday. I think a fair offer would be around $65 - $70 a bottle.
