"Valley of the Moon " Wine Hike !

If we could have gotten in to this place; it would have been wild & beautiful.  As I checked  the area out  on Friday afternoon.

I left the  description on the  site.  It will be the same place & time.  Please read all the info carefully. The waterfalls & garden falls should be fantastic after all the rain. This area is hidden & not known to many.  It also has limited access & availability to the # of visitors.

I have also added a new side stop to see the new water Vortex, redone grounds, etc.  & reopened wine caves.  This is the oldest commercial winery in California.

For very little $ you will get a lot.  More history at the first winery & museum tour. Plus our third nearby wine tasting stop.

The always super fun dinner social follows . Don't miss this !

******I leave for Hawaii on Sunday for our Big Island adventure tours.  There are 2 spots left for these two trips.  All inclusive & our own private chef !!

So get out w/us next week as the next event won't be until late jan. 2013.

Super nice weather (we lucked out). There was so much to see & do & I added the xtra cool winery stop. Plus our last tasting at SB. went on till past darkness . Some of us then went to the Sonoma Square for a great dinner & then touring the old Tuscano Hotel with hot cider & the great Blue grass band.
A super day . You will never know what you missed !!!

The Hike was super pretty and there were many different micro environments that we passed through. Lots of photo ops and not too difficult a hike.

I would love to, but this is our Second Saturday at the Ag History Center and Christmas Parade weekend in Woodland. Hundreds of tractors. Thousands of visitors. It may sound off beat, but it is one of the biggest small town parades around. Santa (with a real beard) will tell stories about Christmas on the farm. It is another adventure. See you next time as long as it isn't Second Saturday.
