Seminars - Getting Started with Backyard Chickens & Picking Chickens

This event was moved to November 3, due to a rain out.
We are exhibiting chickens at the Fall Trash Bash and Green Environmental Fair put on by Keep Flower Mound Beautiful in the Home Depot parking lot. You are welcome to bring your chickens or help us work this event. Our exhibit at this event is always a favorite hang out for kids and parents who want to see real chickens close up. Help us answer the many questions, greet chicken advocates, and help kids pet, feed, or hold a chicken.
Two classes are scheduled to help new chicken advocates get started:

11:30 - Picking Chickens, How to Select Chicken Breeds, by Mark Glover
How to select the best chicken breeds for your backyard flock.
The Seminars are informal and should last about thirty minutes. There are lots of exhibits, food, and fun for the entire family at this event.
