HELP make Downtown Bakersfield as "COOL" as that big city you went to college in or lived in for the first few years of your career, until you "boomeranged" back to Bakersfield!!

Meet other local people who are interested in New Urbanism and Sustainable Development. These are urban design movements aimed to reform all aspects of urban development and sustainable living. Help to create neighborhoods that are walkable, and contain a diverse range of housing and jobs. Let's restore our urban fabric and communities!

Meet to talk about issues and CREATE solutions to challenges that are affecting urban renewal and economic development in Downtown Bakersfield, CA!

PLEASE JOIN especially if you have lived a significant amount of time in a "big city" elsewhere in the United States and are now a BOOMERANG back to your hometown of Bakersfield and want to feel like you still live in the LA's and NYC's of the world!
