More About Our Speakers

Mark Mandel is a Developer Advocate for the Google Developer Platform. Hailing from Australia, Mark built his career developing backend web applications which included several widely adopted open source projects, being an Adobe Community Professional and running an international conference in Melbourne for several years. Since then he has focused on becoming a polyglot developer, building systems in Go, JRuby and Clojure on a variety of infrastructures, including Google Cloud Platform. In his spare time he plays with his dog, trains martial arts and reads too much fantasy literature.

About the group

We meet on the third Thursday of every month to learn about web site development with Javascript and all related tools and technology. We will generally focus on open-source tools and related topics.

We have a slack channel for Mesh, if you would like to join, please send us a message with your email address and we'll invite you.
