• Dramatically improve your technique without fighting your body
• Engage your audience and connect with them on different levels beyond the superficial
• Explore the parallels of Oriental and Western dance styles through their shared origins

Power of Nuance in Music Interpretation with Ayperi
2p – 4p
You've got the technique, now it's time to dance! Give in to the music and let yourself feel and interpret its message. Explore how subtle changes in your dance can help you deliver a more powerful and memorable performance, whether it's to traditional, non-traditional or modern music. Ayperi will impart these concepts through a series of choreographed sequences.

About Ayperi
Known for her style and grace, as well as her fluid muscle control and musical interpretation, Ayperi has been a student of Middle Eastern Dance for as long as she can remember. She developed a passion and appreciation for this ancient, beautiful art form at an early age. As a child, she watched and attended belly dance classes instructed by her talented mother. In the following years, Ayperi studied other styles of dance such as ballet, tap, and jazz. She has also attended several workshops with well-known dancers such as Sadie of Denver, Yasmin, Miramar, Lisa Zahiya, Latifa, Rachel Kay Brookmire, Samira Shuruk, Belladonna Romka and many others.

Ayperi is founder of Symmetry Dance in Haymarket, Virginia. She currently serves on the board of Tiraz Dance Dance Network, an organization committed to sharing Middle Eastern Dance through organizing workshops, social events, performance opportunities and resources in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
