Sim Social (A Baltmore Drones Event hosted by Baltimore Hackerspace)

I am cross posting this from Baltimore Drones to the Baltimore Hackerspace meetup group since this event is being held at the space.

This is a great event for anyone who has ever been interested in RC Flight & Drones. We are going to connect the simulator to the projector and let people try their hands at flying.

Here is the excerpt from the Baltimore Drones Event.
"Let's get together and have a social event. The idea is simple, come hang out and talk a little shop while getting some stick time with the simulator (Phoenix 4) on the projection screen and enjoying the company of like minded folks. Think of it as a night at the clubhouse with your friends. The location is the Baltimore Hackerspace, and personally, I can't think of a better spot. Bring your latest build, or come armed only with a load of questions, either way is fine with us!"

So generally these things are not easy to control if you have never flown one. Since I don't want to risk my multi 100's of dollar drone in the hands of a beginner we will have a computer simulator setup. I plan to bring a small inexpensive lightweight quad. If anyone can demonstrate to my satisfaction that they can control one in the simulator, I will let them try their hand at the real one.
