The Getting Bootstrapped with Git and GitHub slides can be found here: (found via fortuitous timing on twitter)

    There's also: Code School+GitHub's

And, of course, the documentation/Pro Git book:

Hope these help! I may be late in coming to the event as I accidentally double-booked myself (I have to be at University of Baltimore from 6-7:30). I hope that won't be a problem. But I've used git/github before for a project on a basic level.

Yup! I just uploaded those slides for a Charity Hackathon (Colorado GiveCamp) I attended last weekend. :) I plan to use the same slides and then we can dive into operations on the command line and have some QA.
