Ellicott City at Night (mid-week)

We're going to do an extra bonus mid-week MeetUp this month, scheduled for the evening in hopes of getting some more people out.

We'll meet at the B&O Museum in Ellicott City (Howard Co.) at the intersection of Maryland Ave & Frederick Rd. The museum is closed. We're just using it as our Meetup point. Parking can be tricky even at night during the winter. If you are coming from Baltimore County (Catonsville area) make a right as soon as you pass over the small bridge leading into Ellicott City. There's a parking lot in then area.

It will probably be cold so dress warmly. We're concentrate on photographing the store front windows. That's right, we're upping the challenge of HDR photography. This type of photography takes some practice and patience as you have to balance the light outside of the window, the window itself, and the interior of the store.

You'll have a full tonal range on most of these shots. You won't be doing any 3 shot HDRs tonight! To get the full range you might wind up taking anywhere from 7 - 13 shots.
