Getting it done - Using Tumblr and Email to Promote Your Business

This month we are again hosting two speakers with different perspectives on using social media to promote business but with very different audiences.

You've heard about Tumblr but is this the social media platform for you? Steve Anderson of Third Eye Comics (http://www.thirdeyecomics.com/) will talk about using Tumblr to promote his business.

I encourage you to come out and meet Steve. He remains in my mind one of the best small business owners I have ever met and his enthusiasm for comics and the comic shop business is infectious.

Our second speaker, Lindsey Paolucci, Digital Marketing Manager, of the True Citrus Co. makers of True Lemon will talk about how they continue to use Email as the most important marketing tools and then integrate their efforts with Social Media. We often forget that Email was the first social media platform and remains one of the most important ways to engage our customers.

So come out on this the shortest month of the year and celebrate the growing importance of social media.
