Are you interested in learning how to use a laser cutter, and how our machine works? Attend our Laser Cutter 101 class to learn how to handle 80 watts of pure laser power!

This class is free for dues-paying members of the Node, and costs $30 for non-members of the general public. Additionally, we ask for donations of $0.50/minute of laser cutting time to members for commercial projects, and $1/minute from non-members on all projects.

This class is a requirement for using the laser on future projects at our space. Please bring a laptop with CAD or design software installed, if possible. Inkscape is free and can be found here at https://inkscape.org/en/download/

You'll leave this class with a keyfob you designed and made yourself using our 80w 3'x2' laser driven by the LaserCut 5.3 software.
