Make your own Kubb set (Viking lawn game) and learn basic woodworking tools!

Some of our members love playing this Viking game as an alternative to other lawn games like ladder golf and bocce. Kubb works by throwing sticks at wooden blocks across a field, and has a bit more strategy than typical horseshoes or cornhole.

This workshop will teach you how to use basic woodworking tools like the band saw, miter saw, and table saw, as well as a brief intro to the laser cutter to customize the king.

You'll also leave this workshop with your very own Kubb set to play with at home with your friends! As always, if you don't finish on Tuesday night, you'll be able to come to our typical weekly Thursday Open-Hack and use the tools.
