What is Open Data and how is it related to Free Software?

In this meetup eskerda (https://github.com/eskerda) is going to show us the challenges that governments and companies face when they liberate information, and how Free Software can involve the community for improving the quality of the data released.

Lluís Esquerda is the creator of Citybikes (http://citybik.es/), a worldwide project that provides real-time usage of bike sharing services in more than 180 cities, over 18 different countries.
