Àlex Fiestas (https://twitter.com/afiestas), Software Architect at eyeOS (http://www.eyeos.com/en/), will give us a sneak peek of their new project, Open365. Their aim is to make a Google Docs alternative porting already-existing desktop apps to the cloud with the help of Docker, Javascript, Node and Rabbit.
On this talk he will explain how KDE (https://kde.org) and Plasma (https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma5.0/) have played a central role in the product development and how they were able to move fast in the validation phase. Free software was crucial to create a reliable, auto scalable platform.
After the talk there will be an on-site demo.
