The BPP Community began in 2012 to create an open-for-all group of friends, who were willing to share and learn photography from each other, while exploring Barcelona.
In 2020 we have taken the next steps and added our BPP Pro Meetups, to create a Professional Photography Community to help each other network, and grow their businesses.
To make sure everyone is welcome, we still run 2 types of Events - 'Open for all' (all levels), and BPP Pro Meetups (for Professionals).

To keep our community an enjoyable experience for everyone, we've put together some guidelines:
1. Respect the RSVP - We limit the attendance on our Meetups to maintain our high standards. Please only RSVP if you're sure you can make the event. Members who repeatedly fail to show up for the events will be temporarily banned from future Meetups.
2. Liability - We're not responsible for any equipment / personal losses or accidents during the Meetup.
3. Let's be friends - Our Meetups work so well because our community are social and friendly. To promote this, we normally end the Meetups by going for a drink and welcome members to join.
4. We look out for each other - We won't tolerate any personal attacks or bullying to any community members.
5. An active community is a happy community - We love to see your growth as a photographer! When you share photos from BPP please tag us on on Insta / FB @Barcelonaphotoproject
6. Respect each others requests - As an open photography group, all members are encouraged to post their images taken from the Meetup. If anyone wants a photo of themselves removed, please contact the member who uploaded it.
7. Got skills? Let us know! - If you have photography skills that the community will benefit from, and want to host your own Meetup event, let us know! If it's suitable, we'll be happy to help you organise and promote the event.
8. Photos - Photos uploaded by the BPP Community can be used by BPP organisers for promotional purposes (of course, we'll credit and link you if we use your photo).
9. No one likes a Spammer - This means that strictly no advertising on any of the BPP pages without prior written permission.
10. Respect our rights - The BPP name or logo cannot be used (for commercial / non-commercial purposes) without prior written permission.
11. Continue learning after the event - Upload your photos and comment on other people's. If you'd like constructive criticism or advice from the community, please ask for it.
12. Cost - Running the BPP Community has costs, and we can continue organising these events thanks to your contributions. Minimum suggested tip (€5)
