Thank you, all feedback is useful. Accept my apology if the description wasn't as you understood it. '' a Bareface Film CLUB'' is a film club. I noted you and Robert exchanged contact details regarding some acting work. I hope it works out. The films produced by Bareface Films have been reviewed at the high end of the independent filmmaking scene. However, the vision for a Bareface film club is grassroots only.

I am not entirely sure whether you checked out the youtube channel prior attending. It serves as a good template for the type of films we examine. A basic feedback form, something i'll look into. conscious that it needs to be concise.

All the best for the future and i hope you secure some super acting contracts

    Bareface.

Not what I was expecting. This was an evening of watching short films sent in from around the world and filling out a very basic feedback form which the organiser sends back to the filmmakers. I was expecting 'high quality independent films' and a 'networking opportunity' as per the description of the meetup above. It was neither of these things and the critical discussion was unstructured and piecemeal. The organiser and atmosphere were friendly however the event was sorely mis-described and not at all what I was after.

After a rough start, slowly but surely with the bursts of laughter the meeting magically transformed in to a vibrant quasi-arty-party in the nearest Art Centre….
All of that thanks to vibe-positive organizer… (thanks Sarah)
If you are not pretentious person and have a courage to talk the truth, this is definitely meet-up for you and you will have the best time.
