You did read that title correctly. This class will teach you how to use a laser to make your perfect Kool-Aid while learning how to use a spectrometer.
Make your own functional spectrometer using LEDs and photocells. Learn how to assemble the project using soldering and other assembly skills. Learn about Electronics, Physics, and Analytical Chemistry as you measure the concentration of your Kool-Aid.
Participants will take home their own spectrometer that they made and the knowledge of how to expand it to analyze more than just Kool-Aid.
