Flink-0.10's new streaming model plus how companies are using Flink

We have surprise visit from couple of creators and PMC members for Apache Flink: Kostas Tzoumas and Stephan Ewen.
They will share the updates from Flink Forward conference, the first conference dedicated everything abut Apache Flink, which happened on last October 12-13, 2015 in Berlin.
The new Apache Flink steaming model and new features in Flink-0.10
This talk discusses about data streaming architectures and the new streaming model in Apache Flink, which is currently being released as part of Flink 0.10. In particular, we will talk about event-time processing, flexible windowing, stateful computations, fault tolerance, and high-availability.
How companies are using Apache Flink
The second talk will give an overview of companies that are currently using Flink and the types of use cases they are using the system for. The talk consists of a summary of use cases presented at the Flink Forward conference two weeks ago.

Speaker Bios
• Stephan Ewen is PMC and Vice President of Apache Flink and co-founder and CTO of Data Artisans. Before founding data Artisans, Stephan was leading the development of Flink since the early days of the project (then called Stratosphere). Stephan has a PhD in Computer Science from TU Berlin. Stephan has a PhD in Computer Science from TU Berlin, and has been with IBM Almaden Research and the Microsoft Research in the course of several internships.
• Kostas Tzoumas is a PMC at Apache Flink and co-founder and CEO of Data Artisans. Before founding data Artisans, Kostas was a postdoctoral researcher at TU Berlin and received a PhD in Computer Science from Aalborg University and has been with the University of Maryland, College Park, and Microsoft Research in Redmond in the course of several internships.
