This month East Bay Atheists features retired experimental neuroscientist, Dr. Eric Stone, who will present an overview of his forthcoming book, Atheism:The Struggle and the Promise. The book is a general indictment of religion and covers its origins, violence, war on atheism, lies & deceptions, war on women's rights, attempts to overthrow secular democracy and more. It then shows how rational atheism can repair much of the damage done and benefit us all.
Eric is a long time atheist activist & leader, retired from NYU, who recently moved to Rossmoor in Walnut Creek. He is now the Co-Coordinator of the Rossmoor atheist group, and is well known to attendees of American Atheists conventions.
Please join us in welcoming him to the Bay Area.
Afterwards we will go to dinner at King Dong at 2429 Shattuck Ave at Haste.
