Hi there,

I know we've been tossing around ideas for meetup of some sort for Messiah concert. Well, there are plenty for the season, and also there are many competing venues for it. So, please i do encourage you to go and catch one at least @ your convenience before the season ends.

But wait, i've been looking for something very special, unique in its content, but meant for holiday occasion. Voila! BCCO is having a mega concert with all of the above included. So, read below:

? Franz Joseph Haydn - Mass No. 14 in B-flat Major - "Harmoniemesse"
? J. S. Bach - Fantasia & Fugue in C minor, BWV 537, transcribed for String Orchestra by David P. Cheng
? George Frideric Handel - "Zadok the Priest" from the Coronation Anthems
? J. S. Bach - First movement of The Christmas Oratorio

Haydn Mass soloists:
Rita Lilly, Soprano
Lauren Carley, Alto
J. Raymond Meyers, Tenor
Gregory Stapp, Bass

Guest Conductor, Joseph Liebling

Saint Joseph The Worker Church
@1640 Addison Street, Berkeley
(between Sacramento and Martin Luther King Way)

Sunday, December 19th at 4:30PM

COST: FREE Admission, donations are appreciated.

7 pm (or whenever concert ends, we'll walk over together)
@2181 Shattuck Ave (at Allston Way), Berkeley, CA 94704
*Please indicate if you are coming to dinner on your RSVP. Thanks!

So, do join me once again for this holiday special event by BCCO. They don't do too many concerts, but when they do, it's generally mega/massive scale. $2 fee for this event will be collected @ the post-meetp. Thanks!:)
