With so many free-to-cheap options available, it's never been a better time to get into 3D modeling for digital fabrication.

But with so many options, it can also be very overwhelming!

Let's get together and compare notes on Blender, FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, MeshMixer, Moi, Alibre, TinkerCAD, and more!

We'll start at 6 for beer / pizza / mingling, and at 7 I'll give a brief show-and-tell on our use of the free apps Blender and Meshmixer at my company in both additive and subtractive fabrication.
