Details

$35.00 per person (8 people maximum)

Members Only (no one under the age of 18)

The cost of this investigation is a cash only payment of $35.00 the day of the investigation. Because this investigation is extremely limited in space, please do not RSVP "yes" if you aren't sure you can make it or cannot make the cash payment that day. I am trying it this way to save you all the paypal fees and hoping it won't end up a problem.

HISTORY

The USAT General Frank M Coxe is a 144-foot army transport that was built in 1921, shortly after World War I to ferry army personnel to island bases in strategic harbors, including Fort Point, Fort Cronkite, Fort McDowell (Angel Island), Fort Mason and others. It served throughout World War II and was decommissioned in 1947. It is said to have carried six million passengers during her military service.

It has alot of history including being part of an attempted Alcatraz prison break. After it was decommissioned it was bought by the Golden Gate Scenic Steamship Line, which now operates the Red & White Fleet.

It was purchased by her current owner in the mid 1950's and docked in Stockton. It was opened as a popular restaurant called "The Showboat" where it served many celebrities of that era. The Showboat was later docked and opened at Jack London square in Oakland. It eventually was moved to Burlingame, California and opened as a thai restaurant called "The Pattaya Princess. Sometime in the 1970's 2 of the investors got in to an argument in the bar area and shot each other. One of the men died.

As far as paranormal activity there has been a little, but it has only been investigated one time prior to this and that was about 2 months ago. Hopefully we can be among the first to document any activity on board.
