Investigation at the Pardee Home in Oakland

Please Read

If you have already investigated on any of the prior Pardee Home events please do not sign up so that others can have a chance to go.

Paranormal Investigation for members only (no guests allowed and no one under the age of 18)

Cost - $55.00 per person (payable at time of RSVP)

We will have 5 1/2 hours to investigate 2 floors, a cupola and a carriage house. Please do not wear any perfume/cologne/or scented lotions - as it makes it hard to determine phantom smells. Please feel free to bring any equipment except for Ouija boards and headlamps. You can bring food and drinks (no alcohol) for our break time.

Family and House History

The House was built in 1868 and 3 generations of the Pardee family lived in the home.  The final sister died in 1981.  Unlike most historical locations of its kind, the home has all original furniture and even original clothing still in the closets.

There have been several family members that have died in the home.  With family members actually dying in the home and with the original insides of the home intact, hopefully there is a spirit or two still attached to the home or it's belongings.

We have had great results on all of the investigations.

Just found this today-when we were getting ready to leave..spirits apparently did not want us to take home the leftover cake!

I too thought it was really interesting. Thanks Laura for putting it together. It's interesting that I've felt very spooked in many places that were perhaps haunted or weren't, but in the places that I've investigated, I'm generally not. I'm not sure what that means. I have hours of recordings, just haven't had the time to review it all but I'll let you know if I find anything interesting. The oddest photos I took were in the backyard barn where the flashlight had two beams and that beam traveled. It only occurred when the flashlight actively turned off and on and didn't occur when the light was on for a while. I'm not ruling out some sort of odd reflection, but I keep my lenses super clean and was wiping them again and again once I noticed the second-light. I'm open to comments though. Happy Haunts!

Thank you Laura! We appreciate everything you do to put these investigations together! I have one more evp that is interesting because to me it sounds like Emalita from the Cohen Bray house answering me but it was recorded in the Parlour at the Pardee home..maybe they were paying us a visit..the answer is cute but you might need headphones to hear it all

Very interesting considering I picked up an EVP stating, "Came over from the the Cohen Bray house." I can't tell if it's a male or female. It was captured in the 'Armadillo Purse' room when answering the question, if the spirit was attached to anyone.

Thank you to the members who came on this investigation. I always appreciate the open minded, positive approach in doing these events. Once again we had some great personal experiences, came up with some great EVP's, alot of RemPod activity and even some spirit box activity. Thank you Quentin and Marcy for the Tiramisu and to the Pardee Home for providing the great snacks for our break. I want to take this time to say that I am very passionate about the paranormal investigations that I do and I work very hard to set these events up and make sure that they run smoothly and that the members have a good time. So, when I get such positive feedback and awesome remarks all the time and everyone seems to have such a good time/good experience, it makes it all worthwhile. So with that said, I will continue to do the best I can for BAGH and look forward to all the future investigations with some of the best people I've had the pleasure to work with. Thank you.

I had a great time during the investigation at the Pardee house on Saturday night. As usual, the investiation was very well organized (thanks Laura) and I enjoyed the other attendees. I still need to review my recordings, but we we captured many EVP's during our investigation on Laura's recorder. Thank you again and another thanks to the folks that brought the snacks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
