BTW, our speaker's first name is "Gershom", not "Gershon".

Everything you wanted to know to prefer Haskell for JavaScript :-)

Happy to sponsor this at the new Hacker Dojo in Mtn. View. Let me know if you still need a location.

I'm interested. April is booked, and I'd need two weeks notice to move things around in order to make a meeting in May or later.

So this seems pretty dead. Anyone in favor of resuscitating this meetup?

I'd prefer talking about my current project because then maybe someone can help me come up with an alternative to these nested types I'm working with. That was a bad move, I think. But I don't know anything better to do.

I gave a presentation at Code Camp. It was an experience report of work project. Given the right timing, I could do something similar with my current project, or re-vamp my old presentation which I was not happy with in the first place. It needs improvement. My approach is centered on workplace experience and assumes knowledge of Haskell.

I'm in! Maybe sometime in the next week or two?

Does anyone want to give a talk?

Also, does anyone know of a company that might want to host us? If not, I can email a few different companies to see what's available.
