Thanks for the facilitating the discussion John! If possible, could you make the slides available?

If someone finds themselves missing a pair of skates, message me and we'll figure something out!

Also going to miss this – hope it's a good conversation!

Sorry to miss this, something came up at the last minute. I was really looking forward to this (and the previous topic on Quaternions.jl). Have fun!

Is there going to be food?

Just curious, will this be a lecture or some sort of roundtable discussion for all attendees?

I concur with Ben. Also, I noticed that attendance doubled after the topic was introduced, so I'm guessing the majority of attendees would agree too.

Starting with slides would be a great starting point. I would assume there are things in the works now that many people probably won't know about that could be outlined. Afterwards it can turn into more of a your time can evolve into a discussion format.

Same Question as Ted. There are five subjects here, the language itself, the library, the development studio, useful open source apps and the ports to other hardware.

I'd also like to add cultivating a vibrant community. Not exactly something software engineers think about, but a necessary part of a language's success.

I'm going to come even though the topic, Quaternions.jl, is over my head. I'd like to meet the local Julia community.

Sorry, that submitted before I thought it would. I believe he is based in Australia, so it would probably have to be remote. I would be happy to e-mail to see if this is something he would be interested in.
