This Intensive 6 Hour Master Class is designed to take photographers to the next level of achievement in their work.

This workshop will be split into two sessions with a short brake for lunch between. The morning session is an introduction and lecture covering lighting basics with a demonstration of some classic lighting for portraits.

The afternoon session is a hands on 3 hour photo shoot where every participant will have the opportunity to photograph our model with help from Simon. It's a great opportunity to learn professional lighting techniques and create some wonderful pictures for your portfolio.

The workshop is intended for those with some photographic knowledge. No experience with studio lights is necessary but a interchangeable lens (DSLR) camera is required. A lens in the range of 50mm-135mm is recommended.

Optional: You will also be able to book an extra photo session with our model and Simon after the main workshop is over. Spaces are Limited to 4 participants and the cost is $45 each. This is a great chance to extend your photo session time and explore more advanced lighting techniques.

Workshop Instructor: - Simon Bannister is the owner and photographer at iMotion Photography a successful and innovative family portrait studio. Simon has been a photographer for the past 20 years starting his career as a photojournalist in the UK. He later become a wedding and portrait photographer in both the UK and California where he established iMotion Photography in 2007.
