Details
We video conference once a month to learn about projects within our community! They're currently limited to 50 participants but will also be uploaded to our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPtHLGu_WXh-OvX8NAVtDEw). Bring your own pizza ;)

Ryan Rempel (https://twitter.com/rgrempel), author of several Elm packages, notably including elm-route-hash (https://github.com/rgrempel/elm-route-hash) and elm-web-api (https://github.com/rgrempel/elm-web-api), presents purescript-elm (https://github.com/rgrempel/purescript-elm), his exploratory port of Elm's standard library for educational purposes.
Taylor Fausak (https://twitter.com/taylorfausak), creator of a number of packages in both Haskell and PureScript, notably including Blunt (http://bit.ly/1Vx3B7v) and Batteries (https://pursuit.purescript.org/packages/purescript-batteries), presents Neon (http://taylor.fausak.me/2016/02/28/neon-an-alternative-purescript-prelude/), his experimental alternate prelude to reduce the barrier to entry for newcomers.

Previous Topic (recorded): Pux (http://www.alexmingoia.com/purescript-pux/)—“FRP interface to React” by Alex Mingoia (https://twitter.com/alexmingoia)
Pux is a simple FRP interface for building web applications with React, inspired by the Elm app architecture (https://github.com/evancz/elm-architecture-tutorial) and Flux (https://facebook.github.io/flux/). Views are produced from a global state atom, which is updated by a function that folds actions from input. Rendering is handled by React, and PureScript provides functional type-safe application code.
