Effective Scala at Box in Los Altos

Jorge Aliss is the author of the popular SecureSocial Play plugin; he will describe what it does, why he made it and the types of authentication schemes it provides for Play Framework applications.

No shop can introduce Scala into an existing Java code base without knowing why, where, how --- and how much. Mike Slinn of Micronautics Research Corporation and lead organizer of BASE will present a tutorial on the mechanics of Java / Scala interoperability.

About Parking

The most convenient parking is next door, at 4410 El Camino Real. Do not try to go down the ramp to the parking garage at 4400 El Camino Real. A key card is required to get in, and backing out of that ramp can be quite difficult.
