It's time for another pattern swap! Clear your inventory for something new (or new to you) - and find new patterns to explore. If you bring at least three patterns, you can participate in the first three rounds of the swap. The fourth round is a free for all.

If you bring fewer than three patterns, then you can participate in the number of rounds equal to the number of patterns you brought. For example if you brought two patterns, you can participate in the first two rounds of the swap. If you didn't bring anything, you can just want until the first three rounds are done, and then we will have one final round where anyone can can take whatever they want. Leftover patterns will be donated to the East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse (OR you can take back what you brought).

It's fine if the pattern pieces are cut - just be sure no pattern pieces or instructions are missing.

IMPORTANT: Please sort your patterns into the following categories: accessories, dresses, skirts, pants, jackets/suits, coats, lingerie, sleepwear, menswear, children's, crafts, vintage, miscellaneous. When you arrive, just put your patterns on the tables, which are labeled with the various categories. For each pattern you bring, you'll get one entry for the giveaway - beautiful sweater fabric from O! Jolly! (http://shop.ojolly.net/). So the more you bring, the more chances you'll get to win. :)

This month's giveaway: One yard of Color-Grown Cotton Stripe Jersey Sweater Knit (http://shop.ojolly.net/product/color-grown-stripe-jersey) designed by Olgalyn Jolly of O! Jolly! (http://shop.ojolly.net/), a New York-based designer of knitted textiles and knitwear. You will get one entry in the giveaway for each pattern you bring. So the more patterns you bring, the more chances you have to win this fabric!

With a width of over 72 inches, you'll find that a single yard is often enough fabric for a long sleeve pullover. This jersey sweater knit has classic stripes. No bleach, mercerization, or dyes were used in the production of this fabric. The cotton was grown, ginned, spun, and knit in the U.S.A.

Since the yarn used to make this fabric was not dyed, the stripes do not fade in the wash. The light green becomes deeper with each warm water washing, especially in alkaline water, until it reaches its full potential. (Washing in cold water tends to maintain the color of the fabric. Adding baking soda to warm wash water tends to deepen the color. The natural white may brighten a little in warm water.) Before cutting and sewing, always prepare your fabric first by laundering it with the method you'll use to launder your finished garment. This fabric can be machine washed and tumble dried. Thank you Olgalyn of O! Jolly! (http://shop.ojolly.net/) for donating this fabric for our meetup!
