If you've been looking to connect with a dynamic social media crowd, then look no further. Bay Area Social Media Mastermind provides a safe place for your questions whether you're new to social media or an experienced expert. Our goal is to discuss what’s hot in social media, AND help you share, engage, and comment with an IRL crowd.

Doors open at 8:30a. When you arrive, you can input your blog URL and social media links into our Google Doc Community Directory (more on that later). We’ll start promptly at 9:00a with 20 second intros (no sales pitches, please) then dive right into content in true mastermind format. As we discuss the topics of the day, I will take relevant questions and answers from the floor. If there are specific questions you want covered, please message me or post them in the meetup. Be prepared to take notes.

At 10:00a we’ll take 15 minutes to get practical. Using the links from the Google Doc Directory we will tweet (#baysocial), comment on each other’s blogs and engage on Facebook pages. This will give people who are new to social media some exposure, increase each member’s online community, and it’ll be fun. Promise.

Alison Stripling designs for clients at Cornerstone Creative, is Chief Creative Officer at Vanity Network Magazine, and runs OC Homeschooling. Her first love is Facebook. She’s addicted to Pinterest, tolerates Twitter, and needs to pay more attention to YouTube. She believes in coffee in the morning and wine at night, with a hefty helping of wifi throughout the day. All daytime workshops, are free to monthly members of Laptop Lounge, Walnut Creek's first business lounge and coworking community. Membership to Laptop Lounge starts at only $50/month.
