The first of a few skill shares focused on using audio software to write, record, mix and master your music, Vol 2 will start at ground zero to provide some basic skills for using Logic Pro and Ableton Live for recording, mixing, and applying effects. For the recording portion of the skill share we'll record ourselves in the studio using several audio interface tools.

Vol 2 will be led by queer feminist skill share members:

• Ripley Jene: Logic Pro

• Ari Lacenski & Steph Nelson: Ableton Live

Meg, Ripley, Ari and Steph have used these programs for their own projects and have practical experience to share. Ripley Jene has also led workshops on the topic of home recordings and working with DAWs (digital audio workstation, ie. Logic, Ableton, etc).

Other participants with experience in using these programs or recording are encouraged to contribute as well!

Future skill shares will build on Vol 2 to provide more advanced audio software skills to members.
