Open ROV Scrap Yard Hack Day!

You have been invited to the first OpenROV scrap yard Hack Day!

The purpose of this build day is to get all of the talented engineers, builders, developers, and hackers into our lab for experiments and projects with the leftover scrap from our production runs(2.3-2.7). Lots of this stuff has been taken apart and is in various states of dis-repair. However all kinds of things can be built from this leftover "junk". If you attend you are guaranteed the pick of our scrapyard! After a quick inventory of what is available it is certain that several "frankenstein" underwater robots can be created from this lot.

Also, please let your imagination run wild! Although building an underwater robot is the most viable option, any number of creative ideas could be used to re-purpose these raw materials. We plan to open our on-line store during the event in case anyone needs to purchase "new" items that we have on hand. If you have specific plans feel free to bring them and your own tools (We have some, but probably not enough for everyone). There will be some ROV "Master Builders" on hand to assist you with your project too!
