In this meetup, we put the emphasis on appreciation and learning more about the Wondrous and Wacky World of Wine. Visiting wine bars together is fine, but members have asked for more educational programs in a pleasant social setting, which, you'll see from past events on the calendar, we have organized and will continue to do so. We invite winemakers to offer their insights about their own experience in the wine industry while pouring their wines. And we invite wine drinkers to share in these discussions and tastings.

In addition to to attending other unique wine related events, and showcasing vintners, we gather periodically for our "Members Choice" comparative tastings.
As I wrote in the newsletter, this month our Taste Off features a carefully selected group of 16 red and white wines, plus nibbles, sourced from grapes grown in the less well known appellations: Suisun Valley, Lodi, Santa Clara, and Lake County. Read more
