The Bay Area's Premier Bicycle & Beer Festival is back again in beautiful downtown Fairfax, Marin County - that's right... it's BIKETOBERFEST! http://www.biketoberfestmarin.com
Biketoberfest is a FREE public event. Enjoy live polka music and visit the exhibitions of over 70 bicycle & component manufacturers' products. FREE valet bike parking is available.
For $25 (pre-purchase), enjoy all the locally-brewed beer you can drink, served in a commemorative Biketoberfest 8-oz glass - yours to keep. Beer tickets are $30 at the event. Food is available for purchase as well. Proceed benefit the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and Access4Bikes.
Meet up at San Francisco's Ferry Building at 10:45 am for the scenic 25-mile bike ride to Fairfax for the event. Rolling at 11:00 am. South Bay folks: get on the 9:00 am Caltrain (#425) from San Jose. Pre-game in the SOUTHERN bike car like always.
If starting in southern Marin, meet us at the east end of Sycamore Avenue on the Mill Valley - Sausalito Bike Path at 12:15 pm. Water & bathroom break there.
Ride back to SF (with me) or catch the 4:45 pm ferry from Larkspur to San Francisco ($9.50) if you don't mind leaving the party early. James Bikes Green will lead - rolling from the bike valet parking area at 4:00 pm sharp.
