The Bay Area Film and TV Connection is a group connecting producers, directors, writers, actors, DP's, and others involved with film and TV industries. It is an offshoot of the Film and TV Connection in Los Angeles, which was started about 2 years ago and has about 1000 members.
We feature networking at various events, such as parties, picnics, and mixers in local clubs.
In addition, we are putting together a team of people to work on short projects. Initially, we'll be starting with low cost and no cost projects to gain experience working together and build a profile to gain work on paid projects from clients and producers.
Also, we will be offering workshops, seminars, and other tips and techniques to build your career in these industries.
Finally, I will be setting up occasional feature film video nights for small groups to view newly released DVDs on my 52" screen.
