Re: [javascript-12] Looking for a Web Developer/Frontend Engineer for a website project with the World Bank

Hey Guys - I'm hiring for a similar role as well. We're a fast growing media analytics startup that is looking to hire an engineer who wants to work on a project that makes a difference in a space that matters.?

We help companies like CBS, BBC, Discovery, Redbull, etc. answer complex business questions surrounding online media. This hire will be an early employee who will earn a generous share of the company and grow into a VP role within 1-2 years. The ideal future team mate of ours will have experience in PERL, Catalyst, DBIC, TT, and jQuery. You live in the Bay Area or are willing to relocate (we'll help you get here). ?

I'm not looking for a ninja. Ninjas are sneaky. We want a Superman or a Wonder Woman who isn't afraid to show their face and break through walls with limited resources. Furthermore, you'll be proud to show your pearly whites on our website along with a VP title as you help solve some of the billion dollar hurdles the online media world faces today.

If you're interested, drop me a line: [address removed]

Hi guys,
Sorry for this blunt approach, but my best friend works for the World Bank in DC and is in the process of staffing a website project for a Trust Fund. The website, which needs to be built from scratch, will have lots of content in the end and a few interactive features (only a few of them are required for Phase 1 though).
Here is the the official job posting:
"Looking for a Web Developer/Frontend Engineer to develop a website for a Trust Fund, supervised/maintained by the World Bank. One of the tasks would be to set up an SQL database for bibliography management using Zotero and refbase. In addition, page templates in HTML and CSS need to be created and added into the in-house CMS.
Extensive knowledge in state-of-the-art HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as experience with a server-side scripting language (PHP, ASP) and SQL are required.
The client is based in DC, but working remotely is possible. More info about the project is available upon request."
If you know of anyone who is looking for a freelance opportunity and would be interested, it would be great if you could get back to me.
