Networking Beyond Switch And Route - BayLISA Monthly Meeting

Details

BayLISA's March meeting, Networking Beyond Switch And Route, will feature some fresh perspectives on LAN networking, especially as they apply to virtualization and automation.

Joining us will be informative and entertaining representatives of Force 10 Networks and Arista Networks, for an overview and technical discussion of their technology and application for modern datacenters.

Arista Networks began with the mission to create the best data center switching operating system in the business. Ken Duda, Founder and VP of Software Engineering, and VP Doug Gourlay will share the architecture and development of the industry's first fully modular, open, extensible operating system and how today's most demanding data center customers are putting it to use.

Force 10 Networks has been building high performance network platforms for enterprises, carriers, and network providers for nearly a decade. Jim Wynia from Product Management and System Engineer Jason Dearborn will be talking about new features and technologies in their data center routing and switching gear.
