Jim Dennis on Scripting -- BayLISA Monthly General Meeting - All Welcome

Details
This month:
Jim Dennis, a past presenter at BayLISA, will be returning to speak on scripting, with a special emphasis on "Those Tiny Fragments We All Use," and "Acing the Interview" as regards a sysadmin's required level of scripting knowledge.
It is his hope that by this means, seasoned admins, as well as those among us who may be less comfortable with a lot of scripting, and the actively employed as well as those who may be not-so-well-employed-as-they-like whether consulting or not, will all be able to benefit.
Our meetings are scheduled for 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month, LinkedIn HQ in Mountain View. Note that we are in a different building at LinkedIn as of April 2011--2051 Stierlin Ct is across the courtyard from our old location at 2029.
For directions, point your map tool at:
2051 Stierlin Ct.
Mountain View, CA 94043
Or take 101 to Shoreline north, turn right at Stierlin Ct (Private) and follow the sandwich-board signs.
BayLISA includes system and network administrators across a range of skill levels. BayLISA meets to discuss topics of interest to system administrators and managers. The meetings are free and open to the public.
Recent topics have included FreeNAS 8, Dynamic Tracing, OpenStack Nova, ISC's BIND 10, new developments in LAN/top-of-rack networking, and cloud computing at Netflix.
We always welcome presentation topics and volunteer speakers. Use the "Contact us" link on this page to get in touch with BayLISA's directors.
Please rsvp here on Meetup to help us plan for attendance.
