BayLISA welcomes Message Systems, also Board Elections

Details
We're welcoming Alec Peterson of Message Systems for the November meeting.
The Message Systems Momentum platform powers many of the largest messaging infrastructures on the planet, including Facebook, InfoUSA, LinkedIn just to name a few. Momentum does this through a combination of a very high performance architecture and a large degree of flexibility through a library of thousands of client-registerable hooks. During this talk we will explore the architecture of Momentum as well as go over some examples of how some very powerful use cases can be easily implemented through the available APIs.
Alec Peterson is the CTO of Message Systems. He has been with the company for almost 6 years and has been deeply involved in all technical aspects of the growth of the company, from development to deployment to support. Prior to Message Systems he was a founder at a number of start-ups including UltraDNS and Catbird Networks.
BayLISA thanks Dice.com for sponsoring the November meeting.
BayLISA also thanks Coraid for sponsoring October's meeting.
We'll be having our annual BayLISA board elections at the beginning of this meeting, so all members in good standing are encouraged to attend and vote for/run for positions on the board. Non-members who are interested in getting involved can run for the board, but cannot vote in the election.
Our meetings are scheduled for 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month, at LinkedIn HQ in Mountain View.
