BayLISA in San Francisco - Solaris Theme

August's meeting is scheduled to be around Solaris themes and topics, and hosted by Joyent in San Francisco.

The One Embarcadero Center (http://www.embarcaderocenter.com/ec/about/directions.html) location is relatively convenient to transit (BART/Caltrain/SF MUNI) and we can probably figure out some way to communicate carpooling as well.

Please note that space is limited at this venue so we do ask that you keep your RSVP status updated as we get closer to the meeting. Also, all attendees must give their names so that building security will allow you in -- if you use a moniker in place of your real name, please put your name in your RSVP comment.

Parking at One Embarcadero Center is $3/hr, so we recommend carpooling or taking Caltrain north/BART from the east bay. It's a brisk walk from 4th and King Caltrain (or take the 15 30 45 N or T in). You can also take BART from Millbrae (change from Caltrain or drive up and park there) and get off BART at Embarcadero Station.

Our meetings are scheduled for 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month. This month (August 2012) we're meeting in San Francisco, for our first excursion out of Mountain View in a couple of years.

BayLISA includes system and network administrators across a range of skill levels. BayLISA meets to discuss topics of interest to system administrators and managers. The meetings are free and open to the public.
