At the Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturdays, thousands of visitors enjoy free programs of art and entertainment each month from 5 to 11 p.m. All evening long, the Museum Café serves a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and a cash bar offers wine and beer. Parking is a flat rate of $4 starting at 5 p.m. All other Saturdays, the Museum closes at 6 p.m.

Ths month the theme is Out and Proud and there will be many exhibits, talks and performances of interest to the gay community. Our first stop will be the HIDE/SEEK seek exhibit, which is the "first major museum exhibition to focus on themes of gender and sexuality in modern American portraiture."

Admission to all First Saturday events is free. Parking is $4. The museum is easily accessible by subway. Take the 2 or 3 to Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum.
