Who are we?

Collectively, we are part of the largest percentage of the population, born between 1946 and 1964. We are strong women who are re-inventing age, seeing ourselves at least 12 years younger. We know who we are and what we want.  We are generally tired of social scenes where we are not as young as most,  but, certainly not "old"!  We wish we could just hang out, relax, and have fun with others our own age. We are on TOP of the proverbial "hill", not ready to start going downhill! We are Baby Boomers , hear us roar!

Why was BWBB formed?

When I was looking for a Meetup group to join it was important to me to find women about my age who share a common background. I was not interested in joining a group that had a particular agenda or theme, but was looking for one less formal and open to exploring many different possibilities for excitement, friendship, and adventure.

Like many women, I do not take enough time to play. Life just gets too busy with all the "must do" activities and "to do" lists.  I got to a point where it was time to take steps to get serious about having fun and accomplishing things on my bucket list.

I did not find what I was looking for, so I created the BWBB Meetup. This group is now over a year in existence and is a wonderful group of open-minded, warm, intelligent, fun women who have a lot to share. It has been such a pleasure to meet other like-minded women and watch new friendships form.
