Seattle Beer&Code @Substantial

  • Jan 22, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • Substantial

If you've never been to B&&C before, it's an unstructured night of fun, programming, and drinking. BYOB (or other favorite beverage), a computer and your forever project.

The event starts at 7:00 pm and usually runs for a few hours.

It's taking place at Substantial on Capitol Hill. Nearest cross-street is Pine and Broadway. The entrance is just to the right of Sugarpill across the street from Molly Moon. Dial 202 on the intercom and someone will let you in!

I had a really good time at this meetup. It was great chatting about personal projects with other techies over a beer.

Well, shoot. A whole bunch of organic chemistry came up, so neither beer nor coding for me. I look forward to meeting y'all next time!

I'm signing up as essentially a beginning coder to see if I can/what I should learn. Even if you're all too far along, I can offer agency or strategy perspective.

Sweet! Are they generally dev tools, or are any designed to be run within production servers?

If the latter, we can write some cool dashboard visualizations and monitoring.

Anyone going that's in charge of an NPM module?

    I'm not bringing a project, but I can be a JavaScript mentor…
