For members of churches who are or are considering participation in the Believe Out Loud campaign for LGBT inclusive congregations, and anyone interested in finding a safe and inviting church home.

We hope to use this MeetUp group as a clearinghouse for events related to or hosted by LGBT-welcoming congregations and groups. If you are looking for a place to worship we invite you to explore the list of welcoming churches on the Believe Out Loud website. 

The founders of this group are Episcopalians but we are looking to share its leadership with our peers in other mainline Protestant denominations (Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, UCC and others) who are taking part in Believe Out Loud or otherwise providing LGBT-inclusive ministry.  If you are such a leader, please reach out to us so we can talk about how to support each other's work.

The leaders of this group DO NOT speak for the Believe Out Loud campaign, which is an outreach of Intersections International.  This is our home-grown attempt to fulfill the campaign's goals by fostering cooperation among participating churches in the area.
