Pedal on Parliament from Linlithgow

Belles, let's pedal on the Scottish Parliament with thousands of other fellow cyclists.
We will meet at Glasgow's Queen Street station, take the train to Linlithgow (meet at 9 for 9.15 train) then cycle about 23 miles to the Meadows in Edinburgh, where the event starts at 12.
You can join at Linlithgow, meet at 10 on the canal entrance.
Route: flat canal path, cycle route on quiet roads once in Edinburgh.
Green ride, not recommended if you haven't been on the bike for a while, as we have to keep a pace of about 10mph to get to the event on time.
Return by train from Edinburgh or Linlithgow.
Bring water and snacks, there might not be a chance for a fuel stop before the event.
Pump up your tyres well, bring an inner tube suitable for your bike.
We might have to split train departures from Glasgow due to the bikes, it will be easier on the way back as there are more trains and ScotRail do add bike carriages for this event.
