Get to Know your Bike....FYOB with a difference!

If your bike is in need of a little TLC, come along to the ladies only Get to Know your Bike night at The Bike Station (65 Haugh Road) 6-8pm....previously known as FYOB!

Get to Know your Bike costs £4 per hour for use of all tools, manuals, cleaning products and of course help from The Bike Stations wonderful mechanics and our expert Belles volunteers.

It is the ideal opportunity to get your bike up in a work-stand and figure out know how all the various parts work. Are your breaks making a weird noise? Can't get into the lowest gear? Learn to fix it yourself! Cheap recycled parts are also available should you need them, as well as new parts and accessories.

Even if there is nothing obviously wrong with your bike, come along and tinker away....there are always improvements to be made! The best way to learn bike mechanics is to get your hands dirty!

Each week we will also look at fixing one specific thing....could be punctures one week or gears the next. We are happy to take requests.
